This trip takes you to discover the best of Thailand and Cambodia just for 07 days. Your journey departs from Bangkok to Ayuthaya, which is beautifully located on an island at the confluence of three rivers and then cross the border to Cambodia, explore the fabulous temples of Angkor Complex.

Day 1 - BangKok- Ayuthaya – Pimai – Korat

After breakfast, depart from Bangkok to Ayuthaya, which is beautifully located on an island at the confluence of three rivers. Visit Wat Chaiwathanaram occupying a magnificent position on the West bank of the Chao Phraya River. Drive through the historical part of this former capital of Siam and then continue to Pimai. En route short stop the local fruit market at Klang Dong. Continue to the charming little town of Pimai northeast of Korat, known for the magnificent Khmer sanctuary of Prasat Hin. Visit the museum and Historical Park. Return to Korat with a short stop at one of the biggest Banyan Trees in Thailand. Overnight in Korat (Sima Thani Hotel)

Day 2 - Korat – Dang Kwai –Aranyaprathet (B)

After breakfast, visit the pottery village of Dan Kwian. The region of Korat is famous for its beautifully crafted pottery. Continue to Phanom Rung, which is the finest Khmer Temple in Thailand and gives more than only a good idea of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Similar in layout to Phimai, both monuments are believed to have been the prototype for the famous Angkor Wat. Close by there is Muang Tam, another impressive Khmer temple predating Phanom Rung by about 120 years. After lunch, continue to the border town of Aranyaprathet with stops at ancient Khmer ruins along the Thai-Cambodian. Overnight in Aranyaprathet (Aran Mermaid Hotel)

Day 3 - Aranyaprathet - Siem Reap/ Border crossing (B)

Clients transfer on own to the border. * Aran Mermaid is very close to the checkpoint, client can hire a tuk tuk / Skylap from hotel to immigration easily. Cost is about 60 THB. or 2 USD

Upon arrival Cambodia side, do visa processing travel via Sisophon to Siem Reap and the rest of the day is free to wander around the City (Note: Your own transport from Thailand to Cambodia). Overnight @ City River Hotel

Day 4 - Visit Roluos Temple Complex

After breakfast, drive to Roluos Temple Complex, the earliest of the Angkor temples, visit three principal monuments, Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei. Return to hotel to avoid the midday heat after having lunch.

In the afternoon, visit one of the modern seventh wonders of the world Angkor Wat, the most famous and the best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. This late afternoon view the twilight on hilltop of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight @ City River Hotel

Day 5 - Explore Angkor Temples (B)

Today, explore the great capital of Angkor Thom, South Gate, the magnificent temple of Bayon, originally there were 54 towers decorated with 216 enigmatic smiling faces, Baphoun, Royal Enclosure, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, and Terrace of Leper King.

Before having lunch, continue to the jungle temple Ta Prohm, one of the most fabulous temples in the area. The temple has been left several centuries and it was overgrown by vegetations, gigantic tree roots, creepers covering all over temple towers.

Afternoon, drive through the typical Khmer countryside to the exquisite Banteay Srei (Citadel of the Woman), the temple was made of pinkish sandstone with delicate carvings. On the way back to hotel, make a stop at local communities to observe how they produce rice products, sugar palms and other commodities. Banteay Samre, the end at Pre Rup, it is a great place to watch the twilight and the green rice-paddies surrounding. Overnight @ City River Hotel

Day 6 - Grand Circuit Tours, Floating Village (B)

After breakfast, we head out to the Grand Circuit. To visit the others amazing temples with different architectural art styles as well as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, an island temple with five square ponds set right middle of the last Baray, East Mebon. Return to Siem Reap for lunch avoiding the midday heat.

Afternoon, drive to the Great Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat trip to Floating Villages. On the way back, we experience with Oxcart ride to explore Cambodian life style for 30 minutes, we then enjoy a walking tour of a local Cambodian Village. This is a chance to learn about village life, culture and traditions. Your trip also contributes to the village, helping the local community. There are lots of photo opportunities of people and landscapes. If time permitted, visit workshop of Artisans d’ Angkor or additional shopping at local markets. Overnight @ City River Hotel

Day 7 - Wat Thmei, Killing Fields (B)

Today, visit Wat Thmei, the Killing Fields. The Buddhist Temple (Wat) is also known as the Killing Fields Pagoda as it contains a glass-walled stupa containing the bones, skulls of victims of the Khmer Rouge, which are gathered by local residents in memory of friends and family and villagers who died. This trip is all depending on your departure time. The trip ends after your transfer to Siem Reap Airport for flight departure.
